In making this necklace I select graduated spiny oyster disks and small spiny oyster beads as spacers. The necklace is 26" in length and the spiny oyster disks vary from about 1/2" in diameter by 1/8" in thickness to one inch in diameter by up to 1/4" in thickness. The spacers provided two positives, 1. the large disks really pop out and 2. they added to the length without adding to either the weight or cost. Sterling silver finding include the hook clasp, wire guards, cones and beads. I used heavy tiger tail as the necklace is rather heavy. A long and awesome necklace!
