It is used in many of the DVD LCD rear seat entertainment systems for the vehicles listed below. We've included a photo of one possible DVD system in this listing. (See the last pic.) This drive is not available through Ford or any other manufacturer. The only other place we've seen it is on Chinese websites, for $50 plus shipping.... If your DVD player no longer loads, ejects and/or plays DVDs and you are fairly handy, replace the drive yourself and save a bundle. (Of time and money.)
