Magnesium is necessary for the proper course of many biochemical processes in the body, affects the state of neuromuscular excitability, and plays an important role in the process of heart muscle contraction. Vitamin B6 increases the absorption of magnesium from the gastrointestinal tract. Dosage Always use this medicine exactly as described in this leaflet or as directed by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse. Check with your doctor, pharmacist or nurse if you are not sure. Adults: 6 to 8 tablets a day, in 2 or 3 divided doses, with meals. Children 6 years of age or above (weighing about 20 kg): 4 to 6 tablets a day, in 2 or 3 divided doses, with meals.
