It is 50" in diameter and has a scroll type pattern on it and feels like a corduroy type material. It has a 3 button closure to wrap around the tree. This is very well made with a braided rope trim. This is a dark red, garnet, burgundy or maroon color BUT IT IS NOT bright red or regular red. The shadow on the tree skirt is from my table. There are no stains on this. It shows wear, usage and been washed and dryed. It may have some glitter leftover on it from my ornaments.
