You are looking at a wonderful light gray swirl marble mortar and pestle. It is a must have in your kitchen for grinding or crushing up fresh spices, salsa or fruit. There are countless uses for a mortar and pestle. This mortar is 5 1/4" across the top, the base is 4" across and it's 4 3/4" tall . The pestle is 5 1/2" long. It weights a little over 4lbs. The inside of it is smooth to about half way down the inside. The rest of the inside has a texture to help break down the item that is being ground. This item is in great shape with no dings, cracks, or chips. There are two very small flea bits on the inside rim but they do not take away the integrity of this item. The coloring of light gray and swirls of darker gray is very eye appealing and fits in to today's color palette.
