Item description

Maule's plants are very healthy and productive, ripening even in short northern summers. The wrinkled cayenne-type peppers are about 30-40,000 scoville and average 8-10 inches in length. The glossy, red fruits dry well and are also great for hot sauces. This variety was originally introduced by the William Maule Seed Company of Philadelphia, in 1912. (approximately 70-80 days to maturity from transplanting) We ship 40 seeds per packet by first class mail.
