w/gilt titling to spine and gilt vignette of man sowing seed on front board,
illustrated, 8vo (8.1875x6?), Good+/n.a., 101pp. Wear to head and tail of spine and corners,
light staining to boards, front hinge has been repaired as has been a 1? tear
on the front free fly-leaf, moderate foxing in preliminaries only.
Illustrated by C.E. Wentworth, translated from the French by
Ella McMahon. Frontis is a plate of the sower from front board, having 8 other
b/w plates also.
