This is believed to be a custom built and unique watch. It?s a Unitas Cal. 6498 classic hand winder movement in a large 46mm stainless steel case. Seems to have been made for the famous 1000 Migila open-road, motorsport endurance race. The movement is a vintage Unitas Cal. 6498 from the 1950?s. The case is a contemporary piece. It measures 46mm without crown. Exhibition back. On the movement: Ubiquitous and simple, but also solid, reliable and versatile, these classic pocket watch-sized movements have earned their place in watchmaking history. These movements are rock solid. Unquestionably good. There's a good reason the 6497/8 and copies and variants thereof have been in production for over 70 years now. Fully functional.
