Item description

MONGOLIA Pick#....................51 Banknote Book # 403a Denomination ....50 Mongo Date.....................(1993) Condition?...?.UNC Comments?...... I traded notes with a fine fellow from Mongolia - I sent him Mongo notes among others! It seems the notes saw no or little circulation in country. Probably made for a coinage shortage, then not used or used sparingly. The Mongo notes have a national sporting theme. Horse racing, archery and Mongolian wrestling are the most widely watched and practiced sports throughout the country. Two riders on front and reverse. 2nd image is note under ultraviolet (UV) light, showing security inks. Mongolian: ????? pronounced as Mongo "silver". 1 Tugrik is divided into 100 Mongo. See my other notes from this country. Image is not exact notes in lot. NEVER A RESERVE !! CURRENCY DEN I combine shipping - all lots after first mailed FREE!
