A good movie of the week. In the wake of the great ratings success of "The Night Stalker" with Darren McGavin as Kolchak, there were many made for tv movies with a horror theme. This was one of them, and David Janssen puts in his typically fine performance as a small town sheriff who investigates a strange murder that defies all of his experience, much as Kolchak did in his movie. It's scariest when you can't see the monster. The reveal isn't until the end and the music makes it more intense.
It is commercial free and uncut and the quality is excellent.
Sold on 1 DVD-R Disc in a DVD case with basic but nice artwork for the case.
