This beautiful train mountain is powered by a 9 V connection that is of course included as well as the original Styrofoam and the warranty card. The factory box was deteriorated from age and will not be included. ?? A very strong warning to the wise. Never ever purchase a holder New sealed in box motorized decoration or remote control car unless it has been tested! I noticed the sellers are bragging That they are selling new in the box, but if the item is older many times the gears and electronics will freeze up and when you open the box and plug it in, it will not work, although yes, it is brand new sealed in the box. These items must be opened and tested to make sure that the gears have not frozen up from the length of time that the item has been in storage. I did test this and at first it was not functioning so I applied 3 more volts of power to the unit and it started functioning perfectly With no more issues and now does work with the original factory cord perfectly as seen in the photos. I just wish you could hear the beautiful music because this is truly a wonderful peace. I just wanted to give you a word of caution and also a caution against Overpowering. 3 V is not significant enough to do any lasting damage to the train and in the video you see it functioning with the 9 V cord perfectly however for long use of overvoltage could and will damage a unit so I simply broke it free very quickly within a second and then Plugged in the 9 V and it functions brand new. If I would?ve simply sold this as the brand new train that it truly was, somebody would have received a train and been immensely disappointed getting it just before Christmas and it being non-operational because they do not know all of my trips or have all of my testing equipment, etc. I have been rebuilding brand new radio controlled cars that are completely frozen for years now because I am not going to send somebody a brand new box knowing fully well that even though it is sealed it will not work. So big warning, make sure to ask the seller if he would mind opening the box and testing the unit because even brand new sealed units will malfunction after sitting for a long time. ?
