Thank you. ______________________ DESCRIPTION: This is a nice old antique wooden chest with hand forged iron work. The item is antique with a later repainted or painted finish (see photos). The painted finish has rose flowers and initials (that look to be TKW) with the date of 1802 (see photos) The chest is not marked by a maker. I do not know the maker of the chest. I do not know the origin of the chest, it may be American in origin. The chest has its original wrought iron hand forged hinge, lock, key and handles (see photos). The chest is from an estate liquidation. I only have the chair. I do not have the footstool bench. The chest is antique. This chest measures in total about 20 inches high to the top of the lid, it is about 21 inches deep from the front edge to the back side, and it is about 43 inches wide from side to side. The item has some cracks in the wood, some scuffs, scratches and losses to the wood, some finish losses or repainting and other signs of wear as shown (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
