The item is made of cast Pewter metal (see photos). The pitcher is marked illegibly on the underside of the base (see photos). The item is signed or marked by a maker, but I am not familiar with the mark (see photos). The pitcher looks to me to be for beer or wine. The item is not marked legibly so I do not know the maker or the origin. I would guess it is European in origin possibly German (see photos and decide the maker, artist or origin). The item measures in total about 9 inches high and it is about 9 inches wide from the handle to the spout. The item has some losses in the metal from casting, some obvious scuffs, some scratches and signs of wear (see photos and / or written description for the condition of this item).
