The item is made of hand woven wooden splints in a nice decorative style (see photos). The item has a rusty metal interior can as a liner that is likely not original (see photos). The basket measures in total about 10 inches high, it is about 11 inches from the side to side, and it is about 5 inches wide at the opening in the center of the top.
