We do not know the name of this Rhubarb. It was growing on our Northern Indiana family farm when my parents first got married in 1953. Most likely my Great-Grandmother had planted it some years earlier. It always produced abundant, huge stalks on our farm. Approximately 30 years later we took a start with us to Utah where it also did very well. After 11 years we returned to Indiana and brought our favorite "Old Faithful" Rhubarb back with us. The photos you see are of the plant in my present day garden. Also see photo of 100 of these seeds and my little rhubarb seedlings several days old. These seeds I harvested from this plant on July 4th, 2025. July 5th I planted 75 seeds. A week later the little rhubarb plants started coming up. As I do this listing approximately 30 of the seeds have germinated. Please keep these numbers in mind when purchasing. If you are hoping for 100 plants maybe purchase 3 packages! I will include a few extra seeds in your packet as well. Since I do not like crushed seeds I will ship your seeds in a bubble envelope or in a ridged package. About my "Organic" garden: I am not certified organic, however I never use synthetic fertilizers or sprays in my garden. I do a lot of mulching with animal bedding or leaves from our "organic" yard.
