The item is made of art pottery with portions painted and glazed (see photos). The item is made of pottery in the form of a Western American cowboy. The item is marked by the maker: looks to be North Wood and it is #'d and dated for 1981 (see photos). The item has a nice western Americana style for your ranch home (see photos). The lamp holds a single bulb with a shade that would attach to the socket by screwing on (see photos). The item measures in total about 12.5 inches high to the top of the socket (it is about 10 inches high for the figure alone) and it is about 7.5 inches wide from side to side.
