Item description

It was 1996, and unbeknownst to Chris, I was to buy the building pictured here the next day. When I saw this wonderful rendition of The Warehouse at his exhibition, I just had to have it. The Warehouse was built in the 1880s as a produce depot for the railroad station in Mullica Hill. When I bought it, it was an antique mall. I kept that going and my wife and I installed our art gallery and jewelry boutique "Accessories" as well. We closed in 2010 and we sold The Warehouse the next year to the pizza parlor people who at the time rented from the building whose porch you see here. They made a beautiful restaurant "Naples Pizza" that flourishes there today. Chris Maier is a talented artist and musician. You can read about him on the internet. He and Larry were friends of mine and Larry also had a shop in town, where I bought this picture. I have lots of memories from my time in The Warehouse, and this beautiful pastel has been a reminder in my retirement. But now it's time to downsize and I am letting things go I thought I never would. 1996 Pastel on paper under glass 10" x 18" (sight). Frame is 15" x 23". FREE SHIPPING!
