These are two pieces of very nice acrylic on paper by listed Pop art Artist Ivan Jenson. The artworks were spontaneous work that he would create on paper and sell to people around the world in NYC in his early 20s. It was that raw and colorful style that first caught the attention of the art world. It is all about the gesture and the graphic line - according to the artist himself. One depicts two cosmopolitan people out of his imagination, one depicts a male trying to figure out his Christmas attire. They are 28 X 22 inches. The guy in underwear is signed with Ivan Jenson's name and the year 1985. The other was not signed, but I have emailed the artist himself and got his confirmation. He was very approachable and kind who provided most of the information here I have about the artwork here. The two pieces of art are well preserved over the years. The corners have some minor wrinkles or wear from years of storage, but can be covered easily when framed. One of them had some drippings on the background that I have shown in the pictures. The other have no issues. I am selling both for one price. Shipping methods: I found FedEx frame/artwork box is the best deal for shipping. The box costs $20 and is included in the shipping charge. If you have a FedEx or UPS account and would prefer I use your own account, I am happy to drop off at any FedEx or UPS location at no extra charge once you give me your account number.
