Item description

Bid today on this Original Vintage October 9 1943 Saturday Evening Post Magazine. It is in decent condition and full of vintage advertisements. This is the table of contents: Short Stories: "You Forgot Your Rubbers" by Dana Burnet "Mist from Attu" by William L. Worden ""Man-o-War" by William Fay "Beulah Bunny and the Boy Called Joe" by Dorothy M. Johnson Articles: "Quick and Dirty" by Paul Gallico "An Open Letter to the Unconquerable Dutch" by Joseph Auslander "The Man Who Astonished Washington" by Robert Humphreys "Upsets Don't Just Happen" by Tim Cohane "Will Russia Fight Japan?" by Edgar Snow "So You Can't Keep a Maid!" by Edna Tolman "Bottom of the Barrel" by Henry F. Pringle "Fireman of the High Seas" by Harry T. Paxton Serials: "The Opening Door" (Third part of eight) by Helen Reilly "Bugles in the Afternoon" (Conclusion) by Ernest Haycox Here are the maladies with this issue: There are a couple of holes on the front cover which cannot be seen until you turn the page. They are located on the left side just beneath the left hand and a couple in the letter 'P' of Post. The binding is in tact. There is a rip on the bottom of the back page which also effects pages 101 to the end. The first few pages are beginning to pull away from the staples. All interior pages are completely in tact without rips or holes. We stand behind all of our merchandise. Bid with confidence! Payment Policy: Our preferred payment option is PayPal.
