Item description

Antique WW1 helmet PURCHASED FROM AN ESTATE SALE! I believe this to be a BRODI MARK 1. The inside is stamped "FS 162" and has a marked which states "REP". I am guessing that the three letters are the initials of the original soldier. I am not an expert but the strap may have been replaced in the past and the helmet may or may not have been repainted. PLEASE USE YOUR BEST JUDGEMENT. Military green in color. I believe that these were made in Britain than used by the US and Canadian soldiers. Light signs of age and rough surface. One side has a small bend. GREAT DISPLAY PIECE TO ADD TO YOUR COLLECTION! It will be protected well and insured. Location G1, FBMP, MER
