Item description

All the elements of Renaissance Art using Cherubs or Angels but likely done in mid century Verona Italy based on the silver hallmarks. Appears to be .800 silver around the artwork outlining a frame. The artwork itself appears to be enameling over silver as well though there are no hallmarks on the artwork itself but the artist?s name (Miani) is signed in both pieces. Purchased together and should stay together as a pair. There are several famous Italian artists named Miani but we think these pieces being more contemporary are likely the work of Miani Venetian Jewelry. According to a bio we found: ?Born in Venice, I started my working career in the family business, which produced silver frames decorated with enamels. Now, with my family, we design and assemble costume jewellery with venetian beads.? Perhaps done by a relative? Perhaps we will find out before these pieces sell. Each piece is 4.25? X 5.5? and are metal (likely .800 silver as well) with heavy leather backing and a hanger for a wall. Will ship USPS with tracking to winning buyer
