Item description

This pair of candlesticks is made of sterling silver with a weighted base to provide stability. The design features a rope edge and a classic, elegant style. The candlesticks date from the early to mid-1900s. They may have been produced after the Rogers Company became part of International Silver, Meriden, CT, in 1898, possibly between 1900 and 1925. The base is marked "Rogers Sterling" and "Weighted Reinforced" along with the number "3001". These types of candlesticks often have a weight that makes up a significant portion of their total weight, typically around 20%. This pair includes the original box and packing materials. The candlesticks are in amazing conditionโ€”no dents or marks. I'm not sure they were used very much. The outside of the box has some stains, likely wine, but it is otherwise in sturdy condition. They were purchased in Meriden, CT, where they were made. These would make a great Wedding or Anniversary gift.
