Antique Chinese Red Lacquered Painted Opium Pillow Head Rest. This item has painted designs on both ends, the one end I was told is a poem. The poem is in part about a mountain paradise in the clouds with flowers blooming all around you while you are drink a very good wine. Item was purchased in China in the early 1980s and is in very good condition with a couple of small cracks appearing on the side with the poem. Length 8 inches, width is a little over 3 inches on the ends, and approximately 2 inches in the center. Depth is 5 inches.
