POOL TABLE
SLATE/LEVELING KIT
INCLUDES ONE BLUE 10" STICK OF BEESWAX
plus 10 (ten) WOODEN WEDGES TO LEVEL SLATE
and 10 (ten) WOODEN SHIMS TO LEVEL TABLE/LEGS
Don't be fooled by economy knock-offs with cue wax instead of table wax! Each kit comes in a custom box for shipping. Hundreds have been sold and used successfully!
Wax is used to fill the slate seams when assembling and re-leveling pool or billiards tables. This blue wax stick compound is harder than regular yellow/orange beeswax. Just melt it into the seams, wait for it to dry, and scrape off the excess with a razor blade. It's that easy! You can squeeze the scrapings back onto the stick to save it for use later. One stick will do at least one table...maybe two; if your table has exposed slate screw holes in the playing area (or unusually large gaps between the slate sections), you might want to order an extra wax stick (sold separately) to fill these. Wooden wedges are tapped under each of the slate sections to raise each one slightly (as needed); the flat shims are stacked under each of the legs to achieve overall leveling of the table and frame.
