Item description

Standard 8x10 glossy, rare historical image identified to the best of my ability to read the tiny print on the trophy award. I tried taking a high resolution scan and enhancing it but that doesn't seem to improve over a magnifying glass. The top line appears to read 1 (?) A M Division 108 something; the next line appears to have the name Weaver but I can't make out the rank or anything else; the next line appears to have the rank Major and the name might be Hough. It appears that the last word on the last line might be "Youth" but it might not be and I expect somewhere on that plate the recipient(s) had to appear so it is more likely a name; although it could be the name of an auxiliary organization. And in fact I expect it was such a group that would have such an award presented to them, and likely by the Commanding Officer and this one does have some impressive shoulderboards. It also strikes me vaguely that this could be a bowling trophy based on four girls and the ornament on the trophy, but somehow I don't think so. Photo in nice condition with only a little wear and no fading of the silvering. Nothing on the back to identify it, I have made a run at it but you might know better and thanks in advance for any information. The better part of the challenge on something like this is identifying it anyway, and at the least since I do expect some number of men and women served under this officer it should be a prized memory to someone.
