(Series: English Rose Collection) It begins deep pink, almost red, gradually aging to a pure deep pink with a hint of yellow on the underside. Mild to strong, tea rose fragrance. 85 petals. Average diameter 3.5". Medium to large, very full (41+ petals), in large clusters bloom form. Blooms in flushes throughout the season. Pointed, ovoid buds. Bushy, compact, upright. Glossy, medium green foliage. 5 leaflets. Height: 3' (90cm). Width: up to 28" (up to 70cm). Can be used for beds and borders, container roses, cut flowers, gardens, or hedges. Hardy. Disease susceptibility: very disease resistant. In 2002, an unnamed seedling was selected to be the mother and an unnamed seedling to be the father. The resulting seed was sown in January 2003, resulting in several seedlings. The best of these seedlings was then selected.
