This version includes all the components to use an external ATX power supply (not included) to power the Zorro 2 board. The switch from Amiga power supply to ATX power supply is automatic: just turn on your Amiga and the ATX power supply will also turn on only if your ATX power supply was previously set to standby mode. A bicolor LED will show the status of the ATX power supply (RED=standby, BLUE=ATX power supply on). Also it includes a terminal block that provides all available voltages to power other equipment plus some hard and floppy drives connectors. !! WARNING: Avoid switching the ATX PSU on or off while the A500 is powered on.!! Unlike other similar devices you can find on the internet, this card comes with some extra features and tricks.
