This passion for positive classroom practices culminated with supervising Concordia University student teachers. She is the mother of 3 men, grandmother of 3, and a writer rivaling Erma Bombeck and Peg Bracken in her sense of humor and storytelling. Dave Kohl enjoyed 32 years of teaching art and leading study tours in Chicago, Hong Kong, and Oregon secondary schools. He is a studio potter, calligrapher, and research historian, having authored 4 books on history, architecture, and education. Father of one son, his 2 grandchildren gives him great pleasure in laughing, gardening and camping. Susie McLean Deagle worked many years with pre-schools and Head Start programs in Oregon.
