Gorgeous vintage Jay Strongwater picture frame. The theme is "Flora and Fauna" and features lovely flower with woodland animals which include bluebirds, a deer or fawn, a rabbit, and a fox. The detail is incredible and the crystals are extremely sparkly. This was purchased from the estate of Ann Fitzpatrick, daughter of former Massachusetts Senator Jack Fitzpatrick and Jane Fitzpatrick, founder of Country Curtains and owner of the Red Lion Inn in Stockbridge, Mass. Strongwater is famous for his use of Swarovski crystals in jewelry, frames, chandeliers, and more. It in great condition and measures approximately 13" by 11". The section for a photo is about 6 1/2" by 4 1/2". This piece retailed for $3500 and still has the tag, although it was detached by someone's careless handling of the piece and reattached. Brass oval on the back has his name, the fact that this is a limited edition and the number 79 out of 350.
