Item description

Back in the day every woman had a rain bonnet in her raincoat pocket or purse. They were necessities when you had a beehive hairdo to protect from snow and rain. Usually they were clear plastic with no embellishment. This one is clear but has a brocade look about it with gold flourishes. It says "Compliments of Robert A. Harris" on the front of the black case. He was a funeral director in the area and has since retired. I know this because I have been in the area a number of years. It was on Lincoln Highway (Route 30) in Coatesville, PA. I marked it as used because I don't know but it looks as it has never been worn.
