Sword slide is fine we believe rare example dates to Ming dynasty period. The slide guard is carved of unique prominently light pale green gray jade. Subtle green/blue and brown natural jade accents. Guard fitting has great design with archaic floral leaf scrolls in high relief. The slide is in fine estate-fresh condition with no damage as seen. Outside 1 3/4 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide by 1/2 of an inch thick. Antique real jade old hand made and hand carved. High quality craftsmanship all around. Fine velvet semi translucent jade.
