Item description
This replica Sterling Silver Armada Spice Dish by Richard Comyns is a unique and elegant piece that pays tribute to history. Made of high-quality sterling silver (.925), this 3.25" dish features the Armada pattern, a nod to the famous Spanish Armada.
This replica spice dish was modeled off the Armada Service (alias Tudor Service) which is a set of more than 31 gilded silver dishes, dated between 1581 and 1601, formerly owned by Sir Christopher Harris (c. 1553?1625), MP, of Radford House in the parish of Plymstock in Devon, England. Twenty-six of these dishes are now in the collection of the British Museum in London.
