In this listing I have some fun, unique and pretty jacket, shirt, lapel, tie pins. Some are new old stock and some gently used. I have for sale a nice Vintage but new on card memento pin for Saskatchewan's 75th birthday. It is on the original card and signed by Allan Blakeney the Premier of Saskatchewan at the time. I believe it is brass but not sure, it is matte color for the base and a bit shiny for the raised symbol and lettering "Celebrate Saskatchewan 1905-1980". My big picture shows the light shining on it. The card has yellowed a bit and is a bit dirty looking and corners a bit turned. The is about 3/4" (20mm) wide. This cute little apple shaped pin with rhinestones is 1" tall and about 3/4" wide. This is for a red white and blue Proud pin ribbon. It is just over 3/4" tall. Saskatchewan’s floral emblem, the western red lily (Lilium philadelphicum), was officially adopted in 1941. The Saskatchewan Natural History Society suggested the flower to a special committee created to consider the matter. The flower is a protected species and grows in moist meadows and semi-wooded areas. It stands out brilliantly with its flaming red blossoms against a natural green background. *************************************** 5% Goods and Service Sales tax is required within Canada.
