Item description
Vintage original 11 x 14 in. US lobby card from the 1930s action/war comedy, SKY DEVILS, released in 1932 by United Artists and directed by A. Edward Sutherland. Wilkie and Mitchell, trying to desert their draft into the army, stow away on a ship which takes them into the war zone. While AWOL, the rivals for Mary's affections accidentally destroy an ammunition dump.
Printed for the film's 1938 US theatrical re-release by Astor Pictures Corp.,the image depicts The Colonel (Billy Bevan), Fifi (Lola d'Avril), and WWI Army soldier Wilkie (Spencer Tracy). It is unrestored in fine- condition as shown.
