St. Cloud was named for the Chateau de Saint-Cloud in France. It was purchased by King Louis XVI for Marie-Louise in 1785 and was residence of Napoleon Bonaparte in 1804. The St. Cloud pattern was patented in the late 1880's and features an elaborate design with foliate motifs. Saint Cloud by Gorham Remarkable Saint Cloud by Gorham sterling silver desk caddy marked #B2461. This piece measures 10 1/2" x 6 3/4" and weighs 9.1 troy ounces.
