Item description
Amazing tabletop display piece by Joseph Romano. His studio, Metal Sculpture Designs, in Illinois created this piece as a way of honoring a man with the same name. The work is based on a horn player for the Thad Jones-Mel Lewis Big Band, the Buddy Rich Big Band, and hundreds of studio bands. It is entitled Saxophonist at the Stand. It is signed underneath the sax player ?Romano ?91? and has the studio?s sticker underneath. It features a mixed Metal where nickel/steel is used for the player, gold painted steel and brass is used for the horn, and copper is used for the stand.
