Setopress pectoral High Compression Bandage Type 3c Setopress PEC High Compression Bandage Type 3c is used in the treatment of venous leg ulcers and associated conditions requiring graduated compression of the leg. It promotes healing of even long-standing venous leg ulcers and when applied correctly, produces a level of compression that has been shown to heal even long-standing venous leg ulcers within 12 weeks. Setopress PEC High Compression Bandage Type 3c provides two different levels of compression which can be achieved following the correct side of the bandage. On one side of the bandage are brown rectangles which become squares when the correct extension is reached. This provides over 40mmHg at the ankle for optimum healing rates. On the other side are green rectangles giving moderate compression of 30mmHg at the ankle. This moderate compression may be used initially if a patient is not used to compression therapy or finds it difficult to comply. Setopress PEC High Compression Bandage Type 3c is made from a lightweight advanced fabric construction and is light enough to be worn with shoes to encourage mobility. It can be washed and reused with no loss of effect.
