On right corner the artist has pencil signed her name The piece is professionally framed and double matted. JANE BILLMAN The print is on quality, hand made paper produced in a small mill in Europe. The artist begins with her original drawing which she then engraves on a prepared wood block, using hand gravers and assorted hand carving tools. This can take between 40-300 hours. Next, she embosses the paper over the wood engraving with an antique flatbed press.
