Harley hardware last longer than any aftermarket hardware and looks better. You save a lot of money by using this trunk and you can even tell the difference. This trunk is a direct mount on 1997-2008 Harley touring model motorcycles with the Harley two up tour pack rack. (note: this item does NOT include the hardware to mount this trunk, you will be required to purchase this separately if you do not have it) For newer model Harley (2009+), you will likely need to drill new holes to make it compatible. We have seen in on new models (picture above in matte black is on a 2010). The trunk is made of durable ABS injection moulded plastic.
