In crafting this leather bag I selected white deer skin with light blue lacing and a blue stone cabochon. The lacing is lighter then in the images. The bag measures 2 1/4" by 3" plus 3 3/4" fringe for an overall length of 6 3/4". Bags of various construction have long been used to contain items special to the wearer including the American Indian Medicine Bag, the Celtic Crane Bag, the African-American Hoodoo Bag and so forth. The wearer is encouraged to personalize the bag by adding small items, which have special significance to him/her.
