The detail on this retired and signed Swarovski Crystal Calf is unbelievably mooving. The combination of faceted and un-faceted clear crystal with its’ inquisitive Jet crystal eyes really makes this Calf sparkle. The piece sparkles and shines so much, I had a hard time capturing the Swarovski Swan logo on the bottom of the hoof. This calf had a nice relaxing life for 2 years in The Peaceful Countryside where it was born, before retiring in 2008. What makes this calf so special is that it is signed by the artist and what makes it so awesome is that cows get branded, so the signature makes it look like the Calf was branded by the designer. The other thing that makes this Calf so special is that according to the internet, it is hard to come by and even more so because it is not only a new piece but also signed by the artist. It also makes a great gift for the mother in your life because in many cultures’ cows symbolize motherhood, fertility, and generosity. If you happen to be a Kevin Smith fan or have one in your life, the face on this Calf really reminds me of Mooby the Golden Calf from his movie, Dogma, and throughout the View Askew Universe.
