Item description

Vintage original 8x10 in. US single-weight glossy photograph from the classic 1930's western drama, TEXAS PIONEERS, released in 1932 by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) and directed by Harry L. Fraser. In order to find out who is smuggling guns to the Indians, an army officer pretends to have been demoted and hold a grudge against the army, hoping that the smugglers will try to contact him and take him into their gang. The cast includes Bill Cody, Andy Shuford, LeRoy Mason, Sheila Bromley, Chief Standing Bear, and Iron Eyes Cody. The image features an exterior scene depicting Captain Bill Clyde (Bill Cody) standing next to the gate of a fort as an officer stands behind him with this pistol in his hand and several dead man lie nearby. It is in fine- condition with light signs of wear along the top border and some light waviness across the top and bottom border.
