This bus is made of diecast metal with some plastic parts. The bus has a realistic destination sign that could be found on an MTA Bus which is Q47 LaGuardia Airport-Marine Air Term. MTA Bus (also known as Bus Company) was formed by MTA when they took over the Private Bus Lines that operated in 4 boroughs of New York City. The route on this bus is actually a former Triboro Coach Line. Coach # 8944 was transferred from a depot that MTA New York City Transit Authority operated to MTA Bus since additional buses were needed. This bus also features a white back (this detail was done to show the era when MTA painted the back of most of the RTS buses white from their former black).
