This is a promotional CD for the ill-fated 2001 Broadway musical The Adventures of Tom Sawyer conceived and written by Ken Ludwig with music and lyrics by Don Schlitz. Sadly, there would never be a full recording of the score as it played on Broadway. This item was issued at the time and contains members of the cast such as Linda Purl, Joshua Park, Kristen Bell, and J. Alexander Boyd. Musical direction was by Paul Gemignani. The songs include ?Hey, Tom Sawyer? (with an introduction that was cut out of town), To Hear You Say My Name, the rousing Smart Like That, and the delicate ?This Time Tomorrow.?
