ABOUT THE AUTHOR: Born in 1962, Guy Boulianne started his artistic career in 1983, by publishing his first collection of poetry entitled “Foreword to the Fanciful Prince”. After four years followed by a second book called “The Battle of the Saints”. In the same year he became one of the directors of the two art galleries Lézart and Frère Jérôme, and in 1989 he became the owner of the Imagine Art Gallery in Montreal. In 1997, he founded the Council Franco-Québécois de la Culture in France, which aims to develop cultural exchanges between France and Quebec. Eight years later, Guy Boulianne became the editor-in-chief of Éditions Mille Poètes for more than three years, before founding his own publishing house, Éditions Dédicaces, in 2009. Also at the beginning of his career, he worked as director of the Regroupement des Auteurs-Éditeurs Autonomes and as a director and producer of two television shows at Videotron (Écriture d’ici, Plume et Pinceau). In 2010, he won the Honorary Diploma of La Francophonie at the Europoesésie Contest UNICEF in France. The name of Guy Boulianne appears in the “Dictionary of the poets from here – from 1606 to the present day”, published by Guérin (Quebec, 2005).
