Item description

Wear to both is mostly around the edges, the predominant area of the 1964 issue with him on the cover is not showing wear and it would be a good candidate for framing. December 12, 1964 and the later issue with interior story January 11, 1969 and on the stands the day before the third Superbowl. Which is not mentioned inside, presumably the article written in advance or perhaps they were totally dismissing the Jets, and also it was not widely called the Superbowl yet at that time. Copies of the 1964 issue alone have been selling for the same price or more and this one looks better than most, there is some splitting on the spine but the front is really nice looking.
