Don't worry, it becomes an easy habit. The size and shape and look and feel of this clock are terrific. It's such a nice thing simply to touch and hold. You'll love this clock because it is decorative while also being very functional. It's small but it works great for what I need for bedroom, desk or travel. Battery operated only It takes 1 regular AA batteries, not the button type, so you can replace them on the road easily at a hotel gift shop. The battery cover is located in the back of the clock towards the bottom and it is very easy to remove and return.
