Round black cloisonne 16, 10 and 6 mm; pumpkin black/red cinnabar 18 mm, textured red round cinnabar 14 mm. How cloisonne beads are made in China. A copper bead is created with hammering and welding. Cells (cloisonne) of wire are created and soldered on each bead. they are filled with enamel and fired in a kiln, then three or more thin layers of enamel are added and fired, never a thick layer or the enamel will bubble up and burn. Initial grinding is done to smooth the enamel down to the wire outlining, then it is polished and polished again to a high shine.
