VIZhyal Sodium Hyaluronate 0.4% Eye Drops 10ml VIZhyal 0.4% is a sterile, ophthalmic soothing and moisturising solution, with a physiological pH, based upon cross-linked sodium hyaluronate. This gives more prolonged lubrication than with standard sodium hyaluronate and has a re-epithelizing effect for greater protection of the corneal surface. VIZhyal 0.4% does not contain preservative. The absence of preservatives allows the use of the solution by contact lens wearers without the need of removing them. Indications VIZhyal 0.4% relieves redness, dryness, fatigue and discomfort to the eyes, and ocular mucosa caused by: dry eye syndrome environmental factors such as wind, smoke, pollution, prolonged exposure to sunlight, dried salt, sea water or pool water dryness of the eyes due to excessive fatigue caused by working on the computer for lengthy periods, study or driving; inflammations, eye surgery or eyelid aesthetic surgery and chronic blepharitis. VIZhyal 0.4% hydrates and lubricates the cornea and the conjunctiva in case of dry eye due to the use of contact lenses. VIZhyal 0.4% is indicated for: for reinstatement and improvement of tear film stability in dry eye syndrome after refractive surgery; lacrimal abnormalities secondary to inflammations, chronic blepharitis; lacrimal abnormalities secondary to eye surgery of various nature or eyelid aesthetic surgery. Common Side Effects Due to its viscosity, the product can cause a short-term blurring of vision after use. The patient should be advised not to drive or use machines until their sight is clear. Minor burning or stinging may temporarily occur as a result of ocular irritation. Dosage or instructions for use Instil 2 drops in each eye. It is suitable for everyday use, daily and night-time. Suitable for frequent use. Can be used 2 or 3 times, or more often if required. The gradual emptying of the bottle may be associated with the need to exert a higher pressure to allow the delivery of the product. This is due to the proprieties of the closure system act to preserve the sterility, and the chemical and physical characteristics of preservative-free solutions. Warnings The product is for single patient use. The product is only intended for ophthalmic use. Care should be taken during application, not to touch the eye and any other surface with the dropper of the container. Contraindicated in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to any of the components. Keep away from children.
