I purchased this beautiful macrame belt in the 1970's at an art show. The silky cord that it's made from and the unusual knotting are not typical of macrame creations...much better, though. I always wore it around Mardi Gras time...although not exact, the colors are very similar to the Mardi Gras colors of purple, green, and gold. In this case it is purple, green, and orange. The belt is 1.5" wide and about 59" long from end to end. It is adjustable in that you can tie it at any point of the loose cords. And you can tie all or some of them. It's a great, artsy one of a kind piece, in excellent condition. If you are lucky enough to celebrate Mardi Gras, you'll be the belle of the ball!!
